Industrial Loft Take 1

So I learned a bit about the logistics of shooting for this kind of controlled light in the studio with this first set up, and in hindsight wished I hadn’t rushed to film and had spent some more time blocking off or diffusing windows to do it in a more open setting rather than a corner, but given time constraints with the model and harsh daylight this was what I got.

I’m going to flip the space this afternoon and see what a wider loft shot looks like, but after some consulting with my videographer partner Evan think that if it was going to be a totally neutral background we would need to use a proper background and rent a space, so I’m working with him to build a quote if that’s the direction this takes.

Waiting to hear back on final quote and availability from him but will follow through with another wider look at the studio here this afternoon and am happy to talk about any of the technical details (I’m sure the technique needs correcting too, probably no rocking?) .

Sorry for the wait!

Including an estimate below based on the simplest set-up here in Vermont. Would propose substituting the second camera operator proposed here for a full camera operator like Evan Kay (www.evankay.com) in order to free me up to be in a producter / second shooter role and bring in some more expensive lighting and equipment, which would raise the quote - as would renting a space in an alternative location.
